About Me

Breaking the Silence: The Overlooked ADHD Journey of Midlife Women

I am a certified ADHD and Executive Function Coach, a graduate of the ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy), completing their *Level 2/Advanced Program and The Fundamentals of ADHD for Families. I also received my BA Speech Communication at West Chester University in 1992.

I specialize in coaching adults, young adults in college, teens, children aged 8 and older, and families. I also collaborate with schools and districts to build supportive teams that provide students with the necessary resources and assistance, including IEPs and other programs. Additionally, I serve as a guest speaker, sharing valuable education, research, studies, and statistics related to ADHD.

I am a late-diagnosed adult with ADHD. At age 42, my life changed, and I struggled with life, balance, and joy. I was no longer able to function like I did in my past. Growing up, I was always a happy-go-lucky kid, ready for any adventure or new experiences I could jump into.

In my 20s, I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. In my 40s, my anxiety was unmanageable. I struggled for 10 years and went from doctor to doctor to see why I felt this way. Life became daunting, and my ability to keep up and enjoy my fast-paced career and life changed. I felt overwhelmed, exhausted, and stressed. I went to different primary doctors, an OB-GYN, a bioidentical doctor, numerous psychiatrists, numerous psychologists, and therapists. No one suggested I possibly could have ADHD. I started to have major digestive issues with my hormones being off balance. I became intolerant to gluten. My cortisol levels were off the charts, I was in adrenal fatigue, and I was on my way to Cushing’s disease. I was unknowingly experiencing Amygdala Hijack.

After 10 years of struggling to find the answers, I came across the information I needed on my own! Bells and whistles went off. I was ADHD! I dove in deep to learn everything about ADHD. I started working with an ADHD life coach weekly, and I sought a proper diagnosis. My inability to get the help I needed and the proper diagnosis led me to make a career change and get certified in ADHD coaching. My goal now is to help others who may be struggling with a similar story. As a full-time coach, I'd like to make sure you do not go through similar struggles.

I’m trained in ADHD brain wiring, and I coach my clients using an ADHD lens. We'll work together to find out how your ADHD brain works, and I will provide tools and strategies to help you manage and live a more fulfilling life.

ADHD can be a powerful gift if managed properly! It’s time to stop the shame and guilt and embrace your ADHD superpowers!
